Aptenia cordifolia (Baby Sun Rose) is a fast-growing, evergreen, mat-forming perennial, growing in flat clumps on the ground. The green leaves are fleshy and up to 1.20 inches (3 cm) long. The flowers are bright pink to purplish; fruits are a capsule up to 0.4 inch (1 cm) long.
