"Minuet" (Weigela florida "Minuet") is a dwarf old fashioned weigela cultivar that grows to a height and width of about 30 inches. "Minuet" has a compact, rounded habit made up of attractive dark green leaves tinged with reddish purple. The shrub's real ornamental value, however, comes from its delicately fragrant tubular flowers. They bloom in late spring with lush red and lavender flowers flushed with yellow at the throat. "Minuet" is a low- maintenance shrub that requires little care and attention to look its best.
