Echinacea purpurea 'Prairie Splendor'

Photo: Coneflower 'Prairie Splendor'

A midsized Coneflower selection, this features bright rose-magenta petals surrounding a large orange button-shaped cone. Plants are bushy and flower well even in their first year. Ideal for sunny borders, the flowers are great for cutting. Attractive to butterflies. Coneflowers begin blooming in midsummer and continue for months if faded flowers are regularly removed.
