Sow Indoors: 4-6 weeks before the last frost surface sow pressing onto seed starting mix making good contact, lightly cover with sprinkling of mix & grit or vermiculite, keep moist not too wet, 70-85F, good airflow decreases mildew just make sure they don’t dry all the way out during germination and first weeks then grow drier, good care helps avoid spindly stretched enemic plants by providing bright light, seedling fertilizer, warmth & right amount of water until planting out, be careful of root disturbance when transplanting and be sure to harden off before planting out
