General description

Flowering evergreen shrub with upright, arching growth to 8-10 ft tall, with equal spread. Has broad maple-like leaves, and this hybrid has drooping bell-like red-orange flowers. Main blooming is in the spring and can continue throughout the growing season.

Plant requirements

Sun to partial shade in hottest climates. Moderate to regular watering with good drainage. In cold winter climates, grow in pots and keep indoors in winter.

Maintenance

Control whitefly and scale insects as needed.

Practical use

Grown for its showy flowers.
