General description

An English cider apple which has a sharp flavour. Raised in the 1700s in Somerset. Also used for culinary purposes as they fall into a sweet puree when cooked.

Plant requirements

Vigorous tree that starts cropping young and has large crops.

Ultimate size will depend upon the rootstock used.
