General description

Acacia pravissima or Ovens Wattle (after the valley in NE Australia where it is said to originate from) is an architectural evergreen which is proving equally at home here forming a delicate arching shrub around 3 metres in height covered in a profusion of fragrant yellow, fluffy flowers during late winter. It is best planted in a sunny garden and free draining soil. Also tolerant of coastal conditions.
