General description

A handsome, loose-formed bush with textured, glossy green foliage, launches a spectacular fall show of sturdy, upright stems that carry tall, fuzzy-looking spikes, loaded with fragrant white flowers. Sets of deeply-cut, oblong-oval, serrate-edged leaflets. Blooms September-October. Use in the perennial border or woodland garden. Spectacular when grown in large groups. One of the best plants for late displays. Hardiness zone: 4-8.

Plant requirements

Prefers partial shade in humusy soil. Needs constant moisture in full sun.
