General description

'Stoplight' has dramatic chartreuse foliage and the plants are vigorous too.

Plant requirements

Does fine in full sun but give it a little shelter in the afternoon or the leaves may scortch. Later in the summer, the foliage turns greener. This clumping variety forms a nice mound and looks best near the front of the border. Blooms white in late spring to early summer. Full-sun to part-shade. Well drained soil works best. Looks great with painted ferns and Asian Wild Ginger.

Maintenance

Tidy up plants in spring by removing any tired looking foliage.
