General description
Clusters of small whitish-pink flowers all summer. Arching brown to brownish-red branches display small bluish-green foliage. Small bright purplish-pink ornamental fruits early fall persist into winter. Excellent for gardens, parks, as an informal hedge and for erosion control.
Plant requirements
Full sun to partial shade. Grows well in almost any well-drained soil.
Maintenance
In spring apply balanced fertilizer for flowering shrubs according to package directions. Check soil weekly for moisture spring through fall until plant is dormant for the winter. Water thoroughly when dry. Prune in early spring so current season's growth can produce flowers. No winter protection is needed.
