General description

The fortunei hosta, Hosta Hyacinthina has blue/grey foliage that turns mid to dark green by summer. It is slightly wavy at the edges, has better than average substance and gold fall color. Pale lavender flowers bloom on tall scapes from late July to mid August.

Plant requirements

It grows rapidly and can tolerate some sun. Mature size: 23" x 55" wide.

Maintenance

Light shade to some sun, moist, humus-rich soil. Zones 3-9
