Riased from a pip in Pitmaston, Worcestershire. Heavy crops of small russet apples.

Rarely grown commercially as it has a tendancy to crop biennially.

Reknowned for it unusual nutty/pineapple taste.

Plant requirements

Fairly vigorous with an upright habit. Fruit should be thinned to achieve a reasonable size.

Ultimate size will depend upon the rootstock chosen.
