General description

Features: Clothed in the largest and showiest Tricyrtis ever, 'Gilt Edge' sports glossy green leaves edged in gold. Arching stems hold elegant, orchid-like blooms in late summer. Ht: 24 inches. Blooms September - October. 

Plant requirements

Requires humus-rich, moist soil. A warm spot should be selected for areas with cool summers. 

Maintenance

Trim flower stems and add humus mulch in autumn.

Practical use

Exotic border or specimen plant for shaded or damp areas such as woodlands and bigs. Beautiful cut flower.

 

Purchased from the Crestview Garden Club plant sale. Planted in 2015.
