Special Characteristics Larger, more double blooms thanTuscany

‘Tuscany Superb' is one of the very few Gallicas bred in the UK and was either a sport or a seedling of 'Tuscany'. It is a very similar rose in character and colouring but with larger flowers and taller, more vigorous growth. The very deep purple, semi-double flowers are made up of many petals, which partially obscure the bright golden stamens. It forms a sturdy shrub with spreading, upright growth and plentiful dark green foliage. There is a light fragrance. (Rivers 1837).  5 x 3 ft.
