Deciduous tree 10-20' in height.  Once native to Georgia but now extinct in the wild.  Slender trunked, grey barked with faint white vertical stripes.  Glossy green 4-6" leaves turning orange and red in the fall.  Fragrant whie blooms open late summer, resemble camellias.
