Rainy season starts

 Note  •  Published on: 07 Apr 2014

Well, we should be already in rainy season but it seems dry season winds refuse to dry drawing away the moisture from the air. Lost two ivys. The rose leaves are getting scorched. Both the croton, the ficus and the bougainvillea are losing leavs enough to be able to see trough. But then that can be seasonal. I need to research that.

Inside the ferns  and the orchids are doing fine. It seems the microclimate created by the fountain and the hourly misting from the monsoon are keeping them safe from the heat. There's new observable growth in the orchids.
