Something's wrong with Connie

 Blog  •  Published on: 02 May 2017

Having survived a very wet Winter, and the minus degree frosts we've had during the past 3 months, Connie started to exhibit signs of regrowth, tiny little green buds and the first peeks of new leaves were seen, and then suddenly she started to turn brown. We have no idea what is wrong, or how to solve whatever the problem is. I think it might be something to do with the soil, but as everything else seems to be flourishing, I can't be sure. :(

08/05/2017 - Connie is dying, rapidly. The trunk and bottom halo of branches and leaves have been brown for a few weeks, while the upper branches and leaves stayed green, but now the ends of the greener parts are brown, and the upper branches are changing colour too. I still have no idea what happened to her, and I'm sad to say we might have to dig her up. :(
