  • I'm perplexed about this plant. I've been told it's Queen Anne lace. Also been told it's hemlock. My concern is, I've looked up both plants and it seems like both plants have different leaves than this plant. Any information would be welcome!

  • J L B. Poison hemlock grows to 2'-6', has a blothchy green & purple stem that is 1/4 - 1/2 " in diameter and is hollow. ---------------

Queen Anne's Lace has similar flowers, but it can be distinguished by its hairy stocks.

  • J L B. Cow parsnip is also similar to this. Pkease look these up on the web to identify by the slight differences in each plant. Also, note the cautions given in regard to negative affects each has in people and pets. Poison or water hemlock is the worst. Thursday June 7 at 07:24
