  • Patrick L. Patrick L. Not mites, they suck. This is a chewer. Could be sawfly larvae, definitely caterpillar though. Check bottom side of leaves near bottom of plant Saturday January 1 at 15:20
  • MARCIA K. MARCIA K. It turns out that it was thrips! I cleared all debris and mulch etc. under the plant and found a zillion of them. Once I got rid of them, the plants were fine!! Monday January 3 at 20:00
