  • Hi all!
My husband brought home this basil plant from Aldi yesterday, and it’s not looking good. I’ve never grown basil before. The soil is moist, but it’s been cloudy today. Farmers almanac said something about cutting to right above the second set of leaves, but I’m not sure what that means. Please help!

  • Rich C. put your finger at the base of the plant stem then go up the stem till you pass 3 sets of leaves
then with your finger nail gently nip out the top part of the stem in between the next set of leaves
this will stimulate more growth from the stem
place the plant pot on a plant saucer and fill the saucer with water
